SIISTI Millet Porridge Recipe | Quick & Healthy Millet Porridge

Ingredients :
1. SIISTI Millet Flakes malt Powder - 

2.  Palm Jaggery /Jaggery (Recommended to use Palm Jaggery which is substitute for sugar)
3 . Milk
4 . Cardamom powder
5.  Almonds

  • Millet flakes malt powder - 2tsp
  • Dry roast for 3 mins till it changes to golden brown
  • add 100 ml of milk
  • add palm jaggery or jaggery (as a substitute for sugar) - 1tbsp
  • add a pinch of cardamom powder
  • mix well with no lumps
  • boil till it thickens
  • add to serve
  • sprinkle almonds for taste

What are millets?

Millets are small-seeded grasses that are hardy and grow well in dry zones as rain-fed crops, under marginal conditions of soil fertility and moisture. Millets are one of the oldest foods known to humans and possibly the first cereal grain to be used for domestic purposes.
